Grocery shopping for a loved one should first begin with two questions: What do you like to eat, and what are you able to eat? Amy Sass suggests caregivers shop for their loved ones using store gift cards. After grocery items are purchased, both the store gift card and the receipt should be put in the same envelope. This way, your loved one can review all costs and items bought. If anything needs to be returned, it will be easy to locate the receipt and gift card.
