We are taking you into Trader Joe’s (4600 Shelbyville Road), a small, nationwide grocery store that’s fun to shop in and easy to navigate. Here are some ideas for easy-to-prepare meals using Trader Joe’s potstickers that are perfect for one or two people.
Trader Joe’s potstickers are simple to make and are a good source of protein. Try this versatile dish as a snack or a meal. Fry in a pan and then add water to steam according to the cooking instructions on the back. They can also be microwaved. Serve with a side of soy sauce or place on a bed of salad greens with a drizzle of ginger dressing.
You can combine these with Trader Joe’s Miso broth for a hearty soup. Find them in the freezer section in the second aisle closest to the front.
More about effortless meal and snack ideas you can make with a few groceries from Trader Joe’s:
MAKE A PERSONAL PIZZA: A simple cheese pizza is made with Trader Joe’s Garlic Naan Bread (prebaked and ready to eat), Traditional Marinara Sauce, and Shredded 3 Cheese Blend (bottom right). Bake either in a toaster oven or fullsized oven at 375 degrees. I bake mine until the cheese has completely melted, about 5-10 minutes. Add your favorite toppings for a complete meal.
A DIPPING SNACK: Trader Joe’s Organic Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips are a perfect snack paired with their Reduced Guilt Chunky Guacamole (bottom left). This flavorful dip is rich and creamy and loaded with healthful avocados. Use this dip on sandwiches, place a dollop on top of chili, refried beans, or tortilla soup.
SEA SALT AND TURBINADO SUGAR DARK CHOCOLATE ALMONDS: A perfect ending to any meal (top right). A great balance of salty-sweetness with a dark chocolate coating and almond nut crunch. Eat them on their own or add to ice cream or yogurt.
MINI CROISSANTS: Don’t be fooled by the “mini” label. Once baked, these croissants are equivalent to regular-sized ones (middle right). As the instructions suggest, place croissants on a cookie sheet and let rise overnight. Bake according to package instructions. Serve with your favorite jam or make a breakfast or lunch sandwich.
