With more than 5,000 hand-carved jack o’ lanterns, many created by local artists, Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular transforms a quarter-mile trail in Louisville’s historic Iroquois Park into an organic art gallery. Open October 3 – October 31.
For a fun-filled day on the farm, consider a drive to Shelbyville, Kentucky to visit Gallrein Farms. Their Fall Festival has much to offer, including hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a corn maze, haunted house, and much more. Open weekends now through October 31.
Huber’s Fall Harvest Celebration is here! Spend an afternoon picking pumpkins, riding on the grain train, and enjoying some fall treats at this family-friendly annual event.

Come see the Louisville Zoo transformed into a living storybook, complete with some of your favorite characters brought to life, fun music, and a safe place for trick-or-treating for kids 11 and under. Boo At The Zoo starts September 30 and is open Thursdays – Sundays through October 29.

For the month of October, the residents of Hillcrest Avenue team up to create Halloween on Hillcrest, one of the best Halloween decoration displays in the country. Dozens of houses participate in this decades long tradition by creating extravagant spooky scenes along the street’s half-mile stretch.
