The Queen City is turning up the heat during the cold month of February! Whether you’re tasting sweet maple treats or cozying up under candlelight, don’t miss the many goings-on this month in Cincinnati.
If you love taking your grandkids out for some fun, Feb. 1 is your day. The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s Lollipops Family Concert: Lost In Space will dazzle with a mix of storytelling, visuals, and classical music everyone will love. Lasting under an hour, this concert is especially geared for kids ages 2-9. Also happening Feb. 1 is the Kidchella Music Festival featuring kid-friendly live performances, flower making, and face painting.
Set the mood for a Valentine’s date with a candlelight concert at Memorial Hall on Feb. 13. Or for a funnier night out, head to Covington for an interactive comedy murder mystery dinner on Feb. 14.
Explore the magic of sugar-making when you sample warm maple syrup and other yummy treats at Maple Fest at Cincinnati Nature Center on Feb. 15. Take a guided tour through the sugarbush (the grove of sugar maple trees), then enjoy a lunch from food trucks and drink some hot cocoa—or sample the maple beer.
Wind down your month with a stroll down the yellow brick road: Cincinnati Ballet’s production of The Wizard of Oz starts on February 21. With music provided by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the classic story will come alive in Music Hall with fantastic sets and special effects.
