Cincinnati is overflowing with all the summer fun! This month has so much to offer you from food festivals to parades, so you definitely won’t be bored in the Queen City this June.
Start off molto bene with the CincItalia Festival on June 1-2. It’s a weekend of tasty Italian food from 20 local restaurants, live music, and family fun. This takes place at the Harvest Home Park where there’ll be kid-friendly rides and games the whole family can enjoy. Sleep in and then enjoy the party beginning on Saturday from 3-11 pm and Sunday from 1-9 pm.
Don’t miss the 37th annual Juneteenth Festival in Eden Park beginning June 15-16 offering art displays, historical reenactments, vendors, and live performances on not just one, but two stages!
With no shortage of events the weekend of June 14-16 (which happens to be Father’s Day weekend), take Dad to America’s oldest German Festival, Schützenfest. Translated as the Marksman Festival, you’ll be able to try all the wunderbar food, beer, and wine the festival has to offer.
Luck abounds on June 15 because Celticfest is also underway in Renaissance Park. With Celtic music, bagpipes, shopping, and of course, plenty of Guinness, bring your kilt for a day of celebrating the culture of the Celts.
The Cincinnati Pride Parade starts on June 22 at 11am beginning at 7th Street & Plum. The parade is free, and this event will have food, vendors, and entertainment for all to enjoy. And end your month with the Hyde Park Blast on June 29 where your support benefits local cancer research. For you runners, start your day with a 7-mile run, and for those kids who need to get their wiggles out, at 9am there’s a kid’s run — which will ensure a great nap time later. Block party fun begins at 4pm with over 60 varieties of wine and beer.
